Nervous Preparations

As the time nears for me to move down to Miami, I begin to be a little nervous about things. How will I find an apartment I will be able to afford? How well will I get along with my roommates? Will I be able to connect with the children I will be working with? Will I survive not seeing any of my friends or family for a year? I guess all I can do is pray for the best.

Welcome To My Blog

Hello, everyone! Welcome to my blog. This is what I will be using to update all those who are interested with all that happens to me during my city year in Miami, FL. I am not yet sure as to how often I will be able to post, but I promise that it will be as often as possible. My first day and the official start to City Year will be August 29, but I will also be writing about some of my preparations leading up to that day.
